The ICS Triplex T7310 I/O Transceiver Module is a critical communication interface used within the Trusted fault-tolerant control system. Installed in the I/O chassis, the module provides one leg of the triplicated I/O Safetybus, ensuring reliable data transmission between the controller and I/O modules. Each I/O chassis uses three T7310 modules to maintain complete triple-redundant architecture and guarantee system availability even under failure conditions.
The module includes built-in diagnostics, loopback testing, and LED indicators for fast status monitoring. It supports hot-swapping, allowing field replacement without shutting down the system — ideal for mission-critical applications that demand continuous uptime.
