The MC-TAMT04 executes remote cold junction compensation (CJC) through dedicated sensor placement away from the termination block, thereby decoupling junction temperature measurement from card self-heating. Furthermore, each 16-channel block maintains independent galvanic isolation to the process module (PM) and to the power supply common, which suppresses ground-loop currents up to +/-250 VDC AC RMS common-mode voltage. Consequently, thermocouple signals from dissimilar reference grounds can coexist on the same board without crosstalk degradation beyond 80 dB.
