Product Description

Configured for 24 VDC power distribution in the Honeywell Safety Manager System, the Honeywell FC-PDB-0824P (FC-PDB-0824P Power Distribution Board) distributes the main 24 VDC power rail to individual cabinet devices. It provides one 24 VDC input connector and eight fused output channels for field devices such as fan units and Field Termination Assemblies (FTAs).

24 VDC Power Distribution and Channel Protection

The FC-PDB-0824P accepts 24 VDC through a single input connector connected to the main bus bar. It then distributes the supply across eight individual output channels. Each output uses a 2 AT slow-acting fuse for channel-level protection.

The fuse uses a 5 x 20 mm format. Therefore, a fault on one output channel can be isolated through its corresponding fuse rather than directly affecting the other output channels. The board provides eight field connection points for 24 VDC devices.

Honeywell specifies a keyed 2 pole header and compatible Weidmuller components for the connector arrangement. The board also supports TS32 and TS35 x 7.5 DIN EN rail mounting.

Connect each field device to its assigned Out1 through Out8 channel. Keep power wiring physically separated from low-level analog, communication, and sensitive signal wiring where practical.

Use the specified 2 pole connectors and keyed components to maintain the intended connector orientation. Before energization, verify terminal identification, conductor termination, and fuse installation.

Replace a failed output fuse only with a fuse matching the specified 2 AT slow-acting, 5 x 20 mm configuration. Do not bypass the channel fuse with a direct conductor.
