The Emerson EPRO PR6424/01CS 16mm Eddy Current Sensor is a non-contact device designed to detect vibration in large rotating machines like steam turbines, gas compressors, and fans. It uses eddy currents to measure the distance between the sensor tip and the shaft's surface. This distance is proportional to the amount of vibration.
