The A6371 Backplane is part of the AMS 6300 SIS Overspeed protection system and is mounted in a 19” rack (84HP width and 3RU height). One backplane allows you to install up to three A6370 Overspeed protection monitors, a 19” rack is feasible for two A6371 backplanes.
To provide the safety outputs of the CSI 6300 SIS are, trip relays are located on the backplane. With the backplane types “Trip Voted” and “Trip Not Voted” two different
trip logic concepts are available to provide connectivity to most common trip solutions
• Protects against motor overspeed
• Adjustable trip points for customized safety thresholds
• Single or three phase operation for diverse applications
• Wide voltage range for compatibility across electrical systems
• Manual reset for system restart after a shutdown event
