The ABB UR600IR/BGT flame scanner provides reliable infrared flame detection for large-scale industrial combustion systems. It uses a high-sensitivity PbS sensor to monitor flame flicker in the 0.6 µm to 3 µm wavelength range, ensuring accurate flame discrimination even under challenging light conditions.
This scanner integrates smoothly with ABB’s Uvisor series control units, allowing continuous self-checking diagnostics that improve operational safety. In addition, the UR600IR/BGT supports both direct-view and fiber-optic probe configurations, making it adaptable for various boiler designs and environments.
