Product Description
To test vibration alarms for Channel A on the Bently Nevada 3300/16 Dual Vibration Monitor, start by adjusting the signal amplitude below the Alert and Danger setpoints. After the 30-second Timed OK/Channel Defeat delay, the BYPASS LEDs will turn off, and the OK LEDs will flash at 1 Hz. Press RESET to confirm that the OK LEDs remain on while the ALERT and DANGER LEDs are off. Next, increase the vibration signal just beyond the Alert setpoint and verify that the ALERT LED activates after the configured delay, with the Alert relay changing state. Reset the System Monitor to confirm that the ALERT LED stays steady. Then, increase the signal further past the Danger setpoint, ensuring that the DANGER LED activates and the Danger relay changes state unless ‘AND’ voting logic is enabled, requiring both channels to exceed the Danger threshold. Press RESET again, ensuring that the ALERT and DANGER LEDs remain steady. Finally, reduce the signal below the alarm setpoints and observe that the ALERT and DANGER LEDs turn off (if non-latching alarms are configured). If latching alarms are enabled, press RESET to clear them. If Trip Multiply (2X or 3X) is activated, repeat the test with multiplied setpoints, ensuring the TRIP MULTIPLY LED is on when active.
