ATLANTA, June 10, 2025 – Honeywell (NASDAQ: HON) has unveiled Honeywell Connected Solutions, an advanced AI-powered platform designed to unify building software, systems, and technologies into one streamlined interface. Built on Honeywell Forge, this platform helps optimize operational efficiency and reduce building management complexity.
Early adopters include Verizon Communications Inc. and Vanderbilt University, both already deploying the solution across their facilities. The platform allows users—such as facility managers, integrators, and multi-site operators—to gain real-time visibility and actionable insights across connected systems.
Installation is swift, with AI-enabled setup completed in just a few hours—significantly minimizing labor, disruption, and cost compared to traditional systems. Key features include:
-
Advanced encryption to mitigate cyber threats
-
Remote diagnostics to lower maintenance labor
-
Predictive maintenance alerts to prevent equipment failure
-
Energy management tools that support decarbonization goals
“As building challenges—from aging infrastructure to cybersecurity—continue to grow, Honeywell Connected Solutions simplifies management, boosts compliance, and improves uptime,” said Billal Hammoud, CEO of Honeywell’s Building Automation segment.
Verizon is leveraging the system to proactively identify and address system faults before they escalate. Vanderbilt University, meanwhile, has already connected nearly 10% of its buildings. The university plans to enhance operational efficiency, reduce energy usage, and modernize user experience—especially in legacy buildings.
“Honeywell’s Connected Solutions provides the real-time data and AI-driven insights we need to optimize our campus,” said Alex Kohnen, Vanderbilt’s Chief Facilities Officer. “We’re committed to building a smarter, more sustainable environment for our students, faculty, and staff.”
