 IS200EDEXG1BAA , GE'nin  Mark VI türbin ve jeneratör kontrol platformu için geliştirilmiş gelişmiş bir  De-Excitation Modülü (EDEX) dür. Bu modül, acil kapatmalarda, sistem arızalarında veya koruyucu triplerde jeneratör alanından enerjinin yüksek hızlı kontrollü boşalmasını sağlar.

Bir crowbar devresini tetiklemek için Silicon Controlled Rectifiers (SCRs) kullanarak,  IS200EDEXG1BAA alan voltajını hızlı ve güvenli bir şekilde düşürür, böylece jeneratör ve sistem korumasını sağlar.  IS200EXAMG1A,  IS200EGDMH1A ve  IS200EPDMG1BAA gibi diğer Mark VI kartlarıyla sorunsuz entegrasyon için tasarlanmıştır.
