IMDSI14 od ABB je digitálny vstupný modul 48 VDC s 16 kanálmi. Prevodí reálne signály zo spínačov alebo senzorov na elektrické signály 0 alebo 5 voltov pre počítače.

Tieto signály zapnutia/vypnutia informujú riadiaci systém o stave komponentu stroja, ako je stlačenie tlačidla alebo senzor detekujúci zmenu.

IMDSI14 funguje na 48 voltov DC a dokáže zvládnuť veľmi nízku spotrebu pripojených zariadení.

Tento kompaktný modul, ktorý zvyčajne meria približne 3,8 centimetra na šírku, 17,8 centimetra na dĺžku a 31,8 centimetra na výšku, je navrhnutý na integráciu do priemyselných ovládacích skriniek.
