Configured for bit-level sensor and actuator communication in an AS-i network, the Fuji Electric NP1L-AS2 (NP1L-AS2 AS-i Master Module) provides direct physical and electrical execution between the SX bus and connected AS-i slave stations. The module operates with AS-i communication protocol Version 2.1, supports serial half-duplex transmission at 167 kbps, and exchanges cyclic I/O data with up to 62 slave stations.

The NP1L-AS2 connects the Fuji Electric SX bus configuration to an AS-i field network for cyclic bit-level communication. Up to 12 modules can be installed within one system configuration according to the specified SX bus capacity.

The AS-i network supports up to 62 slave stations per master module. These slave devices can include sensors and actuators conforming to AS-i standards. The master controls a maximum of 336 I/O points, consisting of 168 input points and 168 output points.
