Sprzęt kontrolny serii C składa się z następujących komponentów systemowych:
• Kontroler C300 jest rozproszonym kontrolerem procesów i bramą I/O dla
System Experion. Z wyjątkiem kilku przypadków, kontroler C300 w pełni wspiera
konfiguracja, ładowanie i wykonanie standardowych bloków funkcyjnych wspieranych w
poprzednie wydania Experion, (R210).
• Moduły wejścia/wyjścia serii C, które posiadają moduły AI i AO z obsługą HART,
i moduł Mux AI o niskim poziomie. Moduły wejściowe cyfrowe, które obsługują wysokie napięcie AC
i wejścia 24V DC, oraz moduł wyjścia cyfrowego, który zapewnia 24 VDC.
• Moduł interfejsu Fieldbus serii C (Series C FIM), który jest zaprojektowany do
uzupełnić kontroler C300 i wspierać Ethernet odporny na błędy (FTE)
komunikacja w systemach Experion R300 lub nowszych.
• Zapora kontrolna 9-portowa (CF9) zapewnia osiem połączeń interfejsu FTE dla
Kontrolery C300 i FIM-y serii C w szafie sterowniczej oraz jedno łącze uplink do
sieć komunikacyjna FTE nadzorczego.
