Ar drošību saistītais kontrolieris F31 02 ir kompakta sistēma, kas atrodas metāla korpusā ar 20 digitālajām ieejām un 8 digitālajām izejām. Kontrolieris ir pieejams modeļa variantā SILworX un modeļa variantā ELOP II Factory, skatiet 3.2. nodaļu. Visi varianti ir aprakstīti šajā rokasgrāmatā. Ierīce ir piemērota uzstādīšanai Ex-zonā 2, skatīt nodaļu 4.1.3. Ierīci ir sertificējis TÜV ar drošību saistītām lietojumprogrammām līdz pat SIL 3
(IEC 61508, IEC 61511 un IEC 62061), Cat. 4 (EN 954-1) un PL e (EN ISO 13849-1)

Kontrolieris ir aprīkots ar 20 digitālajām ieejām. Katras ievades stāvoklis (HIGH, LOW) ir
signalizē atsevišķa gaismas diode. Ieejām var pieslēgt mehāniskos kontaktus bez sava barošanas avota vai signāla barošanas avota. Bezpotenciāla mehāniskie kontakti bez sava barošanas avota tiek baroti, izmantojot iekšējo īssavienojumu drošu 24 V barošanas avotu (LS+).
