The 3500/22M TDI collects vibration monitoring information from compatible 3500 rack modules and transfers dynamic waveform records to host diagnostic software. Moreover, the module supports transient capture during startup, coast-down, and machine protection events.

The interface processes data generated from proximity probes, velocity sensors, and accelerometer monitoring channels. Therefore, it supports rotor dynamics analysis by preserving time-stamped vibration signals, alarm conditions, and machine operating states.

For eddy-current probe based monitoring systems, the 3500 platform maintains signal scaling relationships between probe input values and mechanical displacement measurements. The TDI transfers these processed parameters to System 1 software for vibration analysis and condition monitoring functions.
