Il TU835V1 MTU può avere fino a 8 canali I/O. La tensione nominale massima è di 50V e la corrente nominale massima è di 2 A per canale. L'MTU distribuisce il ModuleBus al modulo I/O e al MTU successivo. Genera inoltre l'indirizzo corretto per il modulo I/O spostando i segnali di posizione in uscita al MTU successivo.

L'MTU può essere montato su una guida DIN standard. Ha un fermo meccanico che blocca l'MTU alla guida DIN. Il fermo può essere rilasciato con un cacciavite.
