Il Triconex 3008N è un modulo processore principale ad alta integrità progettato per il sistema di controllo tollerante ai guasti Tricon V10. Basato sull'architettura Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR), garantisce un funzionamento continuo e sicurezza certificata SIL 3 in ambienti industriali critici per la missione.
Tre MP devono essere installati nel telaio principale di ogni sistema Tricon. Ogni MP comunica indipendentemente con il suo sottosistema I/O ed esegue il programma di controllo scritto dall'utente
