Il T35 è progettato per fornire funzioni di protezione di base del trasformatore per una varietà di applicazioni di trasformatori. Utilizza più ingressi di corrente per fornire protezione primaria e protezione di backup dei trasformatori, inclusa sovracorrente differenziale, di fase e di terra. Il relè può essere configurato per accettare fino a 6 set di ingressi di corrente per fornire un adeguato vincolo differenziale per applicazioni con trasformatori a tre avvolgimenti con avvolgimenti configurati in disposizioni a doppio interruttore.
