Il PACSystems* RX3i IC695ACC400 Energy Pack è destinato all'uso con una delle seguenti CPU RX3i: CPE302, CPE305 o CPE310. Non è compatibile con altre CPU. In caso di perdita di alimentazione del sistema, l'Energy Pack mantiene l'alimentazione a sufficienza affinché la CPU possa scrivere i contenuti della sua memoria utente nella memoria di archiviazione non volatile (flash). L'Energy Pack è montato sul lato sinistro di un modulo RX3i ed è collegato alla CPU utilizzando il cavo IC695CBL001. Mentre il sistema è alimentato, l'Energy Pack si carica dalla barra RX3i 24 Vdc tramite il cavo I695CBL001 che collega la CPU all'Energy Pack.
Il Pacco Energetico è conforme alla Direttiva UE RoHS 2011/65/EU utilizzando le seguenti esenzioni identificate nell'Allegato: 7(a), 7(c)-I e III.
