Pengekangan adaptif elemen diferensial menyeimbangkan sensitivitas terhadap kesalahan internal dan keamanan selama kesalahan eksternal. L90 mendukung komunikasi perlindungan antar-relai melalui serat langsung serta antarmuka yang berbeda.
