Hydran M2 adalah perangkat pemantauan trafo on-line kompak yang dipasang secara permanen yang akan mengingatkan personel akan perkembangan kondisi gangguan. Ini terus memantau nilai gabungan berbagai gas kesalahan (dalam ppm) atau nilai gas Hidrogen saja (tergantung pada sensor yang dibeli). Selain itu, ia melacak kelembapan dalam minyak (dibaca dalam %RH dan ppm).

Dengan tambahan sensor yang ditambahkan, Hydran M2 juga dapat menghitung model matematika transformator berdasarkan standar IEEE® dan IEC® untuk memberikan informasi lebih lanjut mengenai kinerja transformator.
