Catu Daya AC dan DC 3500/15 adalah modul setengah tinggi dan harus dipasang di slot yang ditentukan di sisi kiri rak. Rak 3500 dapat berisi satu atau dua catu daya dengan kombinasi AC dan DC apa pun. Salah satu catu daya dapat memberi daya pada seluruh rak.
Ketika dua catu daya terpasang di rak, yang di slot bawah berfungsi sebagai catu daya utama, dan yang di slot atas berfungsi sebagai catu daya cadangan. Jika terpasang, catu daya kedua adalah cadangan untuk yang utama.

Menghapus atau memasang salah satu modul catu daya tidak mengganggu operasi rak selama catu daya kedua terpasang.
