Le module coupleur de bus ESB Yokogawa ANT401-50 S1 agit comme un pont de communication au sein des unités de contrôle de terrain (FCU) de Yokogawa pour les systèmes FIO (entrée/sortie de terrain).

• Connexion réseau ESB : connecte le FCU au réseau Yokogawa ESB (Electronic Serial Bus) pour l'échange de données.
  
• Échange de capteurs et de signaux de commande : facilite le transfert de données des capteurs et des signaux de commande vers les actionneurs entre le FCU et d'autres appareils du réseau.
  
• Communication longue distance : étend la portée du réseau ESB jusqu'à 5 km en convertissant le signal électrique en signal optique (nécessite un module ANT502 supplémentaire).
  
• Conception compacte : permet d'économiser de l'espace dans les armoires de commande.
  
• Connexion à un seul port : fournit un port ESB pour la connectivité réseau.
