Product Description
The Bently Nevada 3500/40-02-01 is a Proximitor Monitor configuration for the 3500 Machinery Protection System. It accepts signals from up to four proximity transducers, conditions the incoming signals, and provides vibration and shaft-position measurements for machinery monitoring. The module also compares measured values against user-programmable alarm settings to support equipment protection and condition monitoring.
Key Functions
The monitor processes proximity transducer signals and supports configurable monitoring functions through the 3500 Rack Configuration Software. Depending on the channel configuration, these functions include:
- Radial vibration monitoring
- Thrust position monitoring
- Eccentricity monitoring
- Differential expansion monitoring
- REBAM monitoring
