El TU835V1 MTU puede tener hasta 8 canales de E/S. El voltaje máximo nominal es de 50V y la corriente máxima nominal es de 2 A por canal. El MTU distribuye el ModuleBus al módulo de E/S y al siguiente MTU. También genera la dirección correcta para el módulo de E/S desplazando las señales de posición salientes al siguiente MTU.

El MTU se puede montar en un riel DIN estándar. Tiene un pestillo mecánico que bloquea el MTU al riel DIN. El pestillo se puede liberar con un destornillador.
