El FEA-01 Adaptador de Extensión de la serie F es una unidad de extensión para el montaje de módulos de extensión de E/S FIO y módulos codificadores FEN fuera de la unidad de accionamiento. El FEA-01 se conecta al accionamiento mediante un enlace de fibra óptica con protocolo DDCS. Se puede montar un módulo de extensión de E/S en un adaptador FEA-01. Varios adaptadores FEA-01 pueden conectarse en una topología en anillo utilizando cable de fibra óptica.
