Product Description

Configured for analog signal conversion in the ABB CC-E range, the ABB CC-E/STD (CC-E/STD signal converter) converts voltage or current input signals to selectable voltage or current output signals. It uses a 24 VDC control supply and provides 3-way electrical isolation between the signal circuits.

Analog Signal Isolation and Configuration

The CC-E/STD accepts four selectable analog input ranges: 0-5 V, 0-10 V, 0-20 mA, and 4-20 mA. The output stage provides the same four selectable ranges. Lateral DIP switches define the required input and output signal configuration.

The converter uses 3-way electrical isolation to separate the relevant electrical circuits. This arrangement limits direct conductive coupling between the signal paths and the 24 VDC control supply.

Front-mounted potentiometers provide gain and offset adjustment. Therefore, the configured signal range can be adjusted at the device without changing the external signal wiring. A green LED indicates the presence of the applied supply voltage.
