REM611 ist ein spezielles Motorschutzrelais für den Schutz, die Steuerung, Messung und Überwachung von Asynchronmotoren in der Fertigungs- und Prozessindustrie. Typischerweise wird das Relais mit einem Leistungsschalter oder kontaktorgesteuerten mittelgroßen oder kleinen Motoren in verschiedenen Antrieben verwendet, wie z. B. Pumpen und Förderbändern, Brechern und Zerkleinerern, Mischern und Rührwerken sowie Ventilatoren und Belüftern. REM611 ist Mitglied der Relion®-Produktfamilie von ABB und Teil der Schutz- und Steuerungsproduktserie 611. Die Relais der Serie 611 zeichnen sich durch ihre Kompaktheit und das herausnehmbare Einheitsdesign aus. Die Serie 611 bietet eine vereinfachte, aber leistungsstarke Funktionalität für die meisten Anwendungen. Sobald der anwendungsspezifische Parametersatz eingegeben wurde, ist das installierte Schutzrelais einsatzbereit.
