Der IS200EHPAG1BAA ist eine Hochleistungs-Gate-Impulsverstärkerplatine, entwickelt von GE für den Einsatz in Mark VI/Mark VIe Steuerungssysteme. Entwickelt zur Schnittstelle mit isolierten Gate-Bipolartransistoren (IGBTs) in Hochspannungsanwendungen, ist diese Platine ein kritischer Bestandteil des Erregungssteuersystem, ermöglicht präzises, optisch isoliertes Gate-Triggering, Fehler-Rückmeldung und robuste Signalverstärkung. Das IS200EHPAG1BAA sorgt für schnelles Schalten und Systemintegrität in industriellen Energieumwandlungsumgebungen.

Die Exciter Selector-Platine empfängt sechs Logikpegel-Gate-Impulssignale von ihrem entsprechenden EMIO. Diese Impulssignale treiben bis zu sechs Kabelsätze an, die zu den Exciter-Gate-Impulsverstärker-(EGPA)-Platinen verteilt werden. Die EGPA-Platinen sind im Leistungskonversionsschrank montiert. Bei redundanten Steuerungen werden zwei ESEL verwendet, einer von M1 und der andere von M2 angesteuert. Der aktive ESEL, ausgewählt vom Steuergerät C, sendet die notwendigen Steuersignale an die EGPA-Platinen.
