Die 3300 NSv-Sonde und das Verlängerungskabel sind mechanisch und elektrisch kompatibel und austauschbar mit der vorherigen 3300 RAM-Näherungssonde und dem Verlängerungskabel von Bently Nevada. Die NSv-Sonde hat eine erhöhte chemische Beständigkeit im Vergleich zur 3300 RAM-Sonde, was ihren Einsatz in vielen Anwendungen von Prozesskompressoren ermöglicht. Die Seitenansichtseigenschaften der 3300 NSv-Sonde sind auch überlegen im Vergleich zu denen der 3000er-Serie 190-Sonde, wenn die 3300 NSv-Sonde in der gleichen Entfernung zum Sonde-Ziel positioniert wird.
