Der 3300/20 Dual Thrust Position Monitor bietet eine frühzeitige Warnung vor einem Ausfall des Drucklager. Er misst und überwacht kontinuierlich zwei unabhängige Kanäle der axialen Position der Welle im Verhältnis zu den axialen Spielräumen innerhalb der Maschine. Idealerweise sind die axialen Sonden so installiert, dass sie den Druckkragen direkt beobachten, sodass die Messung die Position des Kragens im Verhältnis zum Spiel des Drucklagers darstellt.
