Das 3300 XL 8 mm System bietet die fortschrittlichste Leistung in unseren Wirbelstrom-Näherungssensor-Systemen. Das Standard-3300 XL 8 mm 5-Meter-System entspricht ebenfalls vollständig dem Standard API 670 des American Petroleum Institute für mechanische Konfiguration, lineare Reichweite, Genauigkeit und Temperaturstabilität. Alle 3300 XL 8 mm Näherungssensor-Systeme bieten dieses Leistungsniveau und unterstützen die vollständige Austauschbarkeit von Sonden, Verlängerungskabeln und Proximitor-Sensoren, wodurch die Notwendigkeit entfällt, einzelne Komponenten abzugleichen oder im Labor zu kalibrieren.

Die 3300 XL-Sonde und das Verlängerungskabel spiegeln ebenfalls Verbesserungen gegenüber früheren Designs wider. Ein patentiertes TipLoc-Formverfahren sorgt für eine robustere Verbindung zwischen der Sondenspitze und dem Sondenkörper. Das Kabel der Sonde enthält ein patentiertes CableLoc-Design, das eine Zugfestigkeit von 330 N (75 lbf) bietet, um das Sondenkabel und die Sondenspitze sicherer zu verbinden.
