Die sicherheitsgerichtete Steuerung F31 02 ist ein kompaktes System im Metallgehäuse mit 20 digitalen Eingängen und 8 digitalen Ausgängen. Der Controller ist in einer Modellvariante für SILworX und einer Modellvariante für ELOP II Factory verfügbar, siehe Kapitel 3.2. Alle Varianten werden in dieser Anleitung beschrieben. Das Gerät ist für die Montage in der Ex-Zone 2 geeignet, siehe Kapitel 4.1.3. Das Gerät wurde vom TÜV für sicherheitsrelevante Anwendungen bis SIL 3 zertifiziert
(IEC 61508, IEC 61511 und IEC 62061), Kat. 4 (EN 954-1) und PL e (EN ISO 13849-1)

Der Controller ist mit 20 digitalen Eingängen ausgestattet. Der Zustand (HIGH, LOW) jedes Eingangs ist
wird durch eine einzelne LED signalisiert. An die Eingänge können mechanische Kontakte ohne eigene Stromversorgung oder Signalstromquelle angeschlossen werden. Potentialfreie mechanische Kontakte ohne eigene Spannungsversorgung werden über eine interne kurzschlussfeste 24-V-Stromquelle (LS+) gespeist. Jeder von ihnen versorgt eine Gruppe von 4 mechanischen Kontakten. Abbildung 1 zeigt, wie die Verbindung hergestellt wird. Bei Signalspannungsquellen muss die entsprechende Masse am Eingang (L-) angeschlossen werden.

Für die externe Verdrahtung und den Anschluss von Sensoren verwenden Sie die stromlose Auslösung
Prinzip. Somit nehmen die Eingangssignale im Fehlerfall einen stromlosen, sicheren Zustand (Low) ein
Ebene). Wenn ein externes Kabel nicht überwacht wird, gilt ein offener Stromkreis als sicherer Tiefpegel.
