Die Model 4609 Gevorderde Kommunikasie Module (ACM) dien as 'n koppelvlak tussen 'n Tricon-beheerder en 'n Foxboro Intelligent Automation (I/A) Reeks-stelsel, wat vir die Foxboro-stelsel verskyn as 'n veiligheidsnode op die I/A Reeks Nodebus. Die ACM kommunikeer prosesinligting teen volle netwerkdata-snelhede vir gebruik waar ook al op die I/A Reeks-stelsel, en stuur alle Tricon-aliased data (insluitend stelselveranderlikes en stelselaanwysers) en diagnostiese inligting na operateur-werkstasies in vertoonformate wat vir Foxboro-operateurs bekend is.
