It provides 32 isolated, non-public, simple type digital input channels with low threshold and self-test capability. It is part of the Triconex 3000 Series, a family of SIS field devices that are designed to meet the requirements of SIL 2 and SIL 3 applications. The 3505E is compatible with a variety of Triconex SIS controllers, including the 3008, 3708, and 3808. It is also compatible with the Triconex 3600 Series of digital output modules. It supports a variety of input types, including dry contact, pulse, and switch closures.
